Among other achievements related to research and teaching, I have been involved in various management and organizational activities. Some of the more significant ones are:
- Chair of IEEE Denmark, since 2021
- Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors of The Society of Modeling and Simulation International (SCS), since 2019
- Head of Programme for Master in Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark (2015-2017)
- General Chair of the UAE nation-wide IT competition for school children of ages 5-18: IT Marathon 2014
